Gucci Mane Finally Gets Out of Prison
Gucci Mane who is one of the most influential Atlanta rappers now walks home as free man after been held in a federal penitentiary in Indiana after pleading guilty in May 2014, receiving a 39-month sentence. Gucci Mane will be on house arrest for a few months and will then be on probation.
Gucci Mane while in jail kept himself by releasing mixtapes from and collaborating with the likes of Migos, Young Thug, Rich the Kid and Peewee Longway, among many others.
Gucci’s lawyer, Drew Findling, said he himself and and Gucci’s legal team some few months ago filed a motion to reduce the rapper’s jail time by approximately six months, and Gucci was accordingly released this morning. He will be held in home confinement for a short period, after which he will immediately transition to supervised release, the federal version of probation.
